Day 52 Joshua 1:3-9

I promise you what I promised Moses: ‘Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you … No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.”(Joshua 1:3-9)

A great many of us are living a lie. Even though we are faithful in are daily works for the Lord there is a deep upon deep hungering in our souls to be greater. Many of us feel this way because we have not seen the greater things Jesus spoke about within the natural world. I have always been amazed to see healing and miracles break out at a evangelistic event, but I know God has called us to Acts of The Spirit that no man can deny. Lord has placed within me a vision of signs and miracles from even the lest of the believers in his name.

There has to be a breaking point where we put behind the natural world and enter into the realm of The Spirit. My prayer today is that everyone who has a deep upon deep yearning for the greater Acts of The Spirit continually pray in Faith in the name of Jesus name. I pray all strong holds that may be in your life be Broken in Jesus Name! I also pray for The Spirit to overcome all obstacles. We are called to be warriors in God’s Kingdom, but what is a Warrior if we do not see victory? I pray that Mantle of Victory Be upon you in this hour let none who ask go without the Lord’s Blessing.

Day 45 Matthew 20:28

“Heart to serve”

“Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28I thank God for the Love he has shown me in my life. I thank him because in all my ways, I acknowledge I could not make it without him. So many times in this life, we have put faith in our efforts to support ourselves, but how often do we take time to really appreciate how The Lord has kept us. Day in and day out, I work and when I get complimented, I often take the praise for myself. It is rarely that I ever do any work and give thanks to someone else for what I have done.Christ, who came into this World as a man, was God incarnate. By His own Words, he could of proclaim that all humanity serve him, but acts of Worship He did not seek, but to go forth and preach salvation and to serve those who would evenly kill him. It is beyond humbling to understand what this means. Jesus endured much and served us not for His benefit, but to make way for our redemption. I understand why works are meaningless without Love, because it was that Love that was sacrificed on a Cross for our sins.

The foolishness of the gospel will always be a stumbling block for the proud. For any man who is full of Pride does not love others, but only himself. Where Angels bowed before him in His presence, the people of the World cursed and spat on him. Many may not think they are prideful in their ways, but if any man does not have the Heart of a Servant, then he truly misses out the meaning of Love.

Day 41 Jeremiah 1:4-10

” The Womb of Destiny!”

“The Lord gave me a message. He said, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.” “O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” “Don’t say that,” the Lord replied, “for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” Then the Lord touched my mouth and said, “See, I have put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms.” (Jeremiah 1:4-10)

“The Lord gave me a message. He said, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.” Now, I want to read something again that you might have missed. “The Lord gave me a message…” Now who gave him a message? It was the Lord. Now if it was a message that was only for Jeremiah, there would be no use in sharing this Word from the Lord if it was truly for him, but this was not the case. This message that was sent to Jeremiah was intended for him to share to the people of the world. And God’s message is this. “Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.” And that is exactly it. God has spoken and we all should rejoice! But it is man who wants to always question Gods for our life. “O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” Beloved, it is not by our strength that we do these things, even more, if we are commissioned by God himself, what do we lack to speak to the nation? Nothing! We lack nothing! If we have a mustard seed of Faith, we are guaranteed to do all things! “Don’t say that,” the Lord replied, “for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you.” So let me reiterate, Stop telling the Lord what he can not do! Stop saying what you Lack and start claiming what he has for you! “And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” God has said it and you are commanded in Jesus Name to do it!

“Then the Lord touched my mouth and said, “See, I have put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms.” See, what we must understand that there is a time between Gods assigning of Jeremiah’s destiny before Birth until the time that he was appointed. Even though he was set apart, he did not know these things until God came to command him to go out into the nations. Even though Jeremiah felt that he was too young to do these things, The Lord reassured him by touching his Mouth and said that he would be with him where ever he went. God has given us the same power of the Mouth, for it is written that live and death is within the tongue. I tell you this today; God has never given up on us. Through it all, God commanded our destinies when we were in the womb. Have faith and believe these things; God has appointed you to be spokes men to the nations! God truly loves you and is calling for every man, woman and child to rise up and answer the calling of your destiny!

Day 38 Jonah 1:1-3

“Go Obedience?”

“The Lord gave this message to Jonah son of Amittai:  “Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh ! Announce my judgment against it because I have seen how wicked its people are.” But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction in order to get away from the Lord.” (Jonah 1:1-3 NLT)
.
So what did Jonah do? Instead of going to the Great City of Nineveh to announce Judgment as the Lord commanded, Jonah got up and went the opposite direction! Now, it is one to be angry with the Lord about where he is calling you to, but to receive the Word of the Lord and Decide to go the opposite direction is another thing all together. But that wasn’t the worse part of this whole situation. If you read closely, Jonah was going the over direction to get away from the Lord! So, Jonah hears the Word from the Lord and then decides, “Nah, I aint going to Nineveh and on top of that, I will try and run away from God!”
.
Running away from God? Sounds silly doesn’t? I wonder how far Jonah thought he would run that God could not reach him and in that exact moment, God spoke to my Heart and said, “Exactly, how many of my children have I called to serve me like Jonah but are running away?” All I could say was Wow. We are living in a world today full of Jonah’s. Men and Women of God who have received the word of the Lord, but since they felt that Calling was too big or too much from them that they started running the opposite direction.
.
I know there are many of us at some point in time when we decided to run away from God. We felt that it was easier to just fall back in the same situation that he had delivered us from, because it was to hard living up to what the Lord commissioned us to do. We all know the story of Jonah and how he ran away from God and ended up thrown off the boat and then swallowed up by a whale. For three days and nights he suffered inside the whale, but many of us have been suffering for years. It wasn’t until Jonah cried out and prayed to the Lord for Forgiveness that he was finally released from this horrible situation.
.
It took Jonah being swallowed by a whale to see the errors of his ways, but what will it take for us? What kind of situation do we have to go through for us to realize that running from God is just going to put us somewhere we don’t want to be. People always think sacrifice is better than obedience and I will tell you the truth by saying that this is a lie. It was a sacrifice for Jonah to even go the opposite direction away from the Lord. But if he was obedient to the Lord’s will, he would have never had to suffer like he did. There are many of us who suffer today and the Lord is saying,” Just be obedient and you shall suffer no more.”

Day 14 Job 1:14-22

“Bad Day?”

.“A messenger arrived at Job’s home with this news: “Your oxen were plowing, with the donkeys feeding beside them, when the Sabeans raided us. They stole all the animals and killed all the farmhands. I am the only one who escaped to tell you. “While he was still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “The fire of God has fallen from heaven and burned up your sheep and all the shepherds. I am the only one who escaped to tell you. “While he was still speaking, a third messenger arrived with this news: “Three bands of Chaldean raiders have stolen your camels and killed your servants. I am the only one who escaped to tell you. “While he was still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “Your sons and daughters were feasting in their oldest brother’s home. Suddenly, a powerful wind swept in from the desert and hit the house on all sides. The house collapsed, and all your children are dead. I am the only one who escaped to tell you. “Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship God. He said,” I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be stripped of everything when I die. The Lord gave me everything I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!” In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God. (Job 1:14-22 NLT)

.

So, to recap what happened to job; first the Sabeans raided and killed his farm animals and employee. Second, a fire fell from heaven and burned up his sheep and shepherds. Third, a band of Chaldean raiders came and stole his camels and again killed his servants. Fourth, his son’s and daughters were dining together when a mighty wind swept up and collapsed the house and killed them all.  And to add insult to injury, there was always one person who was left to tell him the news of what happened. But through all this, even the death of his children, Job praised the Lord. “Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship God.” I don’t know what bad report someone has delivered to you or one that you have received, but I am here to tell you that through it all, we should still praise the Name of the Lord.
.
Many of us who are fighting the good fight may ask why these things happen if we are striving to work in the kingdom of the Lord. The answer is quite simple, Just as Job says, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be stripped of everything when I die. The Lord gave me everything I had, and the Lord has taken it away.”  Everything we have is a blessing from God and we should regard it that way, but when it is no longer with us, we should praise him for what we still have. We came in this world with nothing and when we die, we don’t even take our flesh in blood with us either! Job understood a simple principle, that if God blessed me before, he will continue to bless me. “Praise the name of the Lord!” In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.” I know when things continually go wrong, it is easy to put it off on the Lord, but take courage! Know that trails are sent to test character and it is by character that will get you through those bad days.
