Day 50 1 Peter 1:12-13

” A Reminder!”

.

“I plan to keep on reminding you of these things-even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth.  Yes, I believe I should keep on reminding you of these things as long as I live.”(1 Peter 1:12-13)

.

“I plan to keep on reminding you of these things-even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth” A long time ago, while I was praying and reading the Word of the Lord, God started to speak to me. I had yet started to write these daily devotionals and at the time that he put it on my heart that I should. After awhile of God urging me to move forward, I simply told the Lord that why should I write devotionals when there are a million and one other people who are already writing them daily! Then that is when God said to me, “you aren’t the millionth and two and there is something inside of you that has never been inside of anyone else!” Taken back by this statement, it took me a long while to understand what God was talking about. No man is alike, even though you may have a twin or someone similar to you, you are still you. God has blessed us with life because we have a purpose. If God can make millions of different animals on the earth to serve a purpose, how much more do we as His children have a  greater destiny says the Word of the Lord.
.
“Yes, I believe I should keep on reminding you of these things as long as I live.” I believe this to be true, because sometimes through the struggle and trails, we simply forget the promises of God. As long as my lungs have breath and my spirit within this body, I will preach the Word of the Lord. God has blessed us with everything we need, so this should be a reminder of His Love to the Body of Christ.

Day 49 2 Corinthians 10:5

“Thoughts and Actions!”
.
It is written,“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. “ (2 Corinthians 10:5)
.
“We break down every thought and proud thing that puts itself up against the wisdom of God. We take hold of every thought and make it obey Christ.”  Living in order with God starts from the Inside. A life of transformation begins with our daily thoughts. “We take hold of every thought and make it obey Christ.” Our greatest weapon in combating the enemy is the Word of the Lord. We daily awaken to a battle field. And not known to most, is the battle field of our own minds. God has given us victory over all obstacles in our way, but it is how we perceive these things that give us victory.
.
A man within his mind will wake up for work; because he knows that he will be reward will be given him to live. His employer has stated in writing that he will be paid a certain amount if he works the amount hours a day and certain days a week. If he is late, he gets a warning, if the work is not done, he has to stay overtime. Once a man works overtime, he is paid extra for finishing the work. On holidays, if the man works, his employer pays him a double portion. When a man is being promoted, he will train his replacement in his ways so that he may take his new promotion. When a man is found to be faithful in his work, he is called upon to be a manager. As a manager a man is called to delegate work to those who he is over. Once those who are below him have been shown to be faithful and add to growth of the company, the man’s territory is expanded. All these action all began as a thought the size of a seed that was planted.
.
When a man is faithful in his thoughts, his actions are blessed. God has written contact with every man, and by God’s Word, shall receive the payment by His work in the kingdom. We are kingdom minded people, so I plead today, let your heart be focused on the work that God has given you in your life, because even on holidays, our work is awarded with a double portion of the Lord Blessing.

Day 48 Colossians 2:16-19

“Tradition of Men!”
“So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new-moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules were only shadows of the real thing, Christ himself. Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on self-denial. And don’t let anyone say you must worship angels, even though they say they have had visions about this. These people claim to be so humble, but their sinful minds have made them proud. But they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For we are joined together in his body by his strong sinews, and we grow only as we get our nourishment and strength from God.” (Colossians 2:16-19)
“So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new-moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.” We live in a time of spirit and in truth. It is in Gods Word states that we should not condemn anyone who holds certain days or holidays as holy. “For these rules were only shadows of the real thing, Christ himself. Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on self-denial. And don’t let anyone say you must worship angels, even though they say they have had visions about this.”
“These people claim to be so humble, but their sinful minds have made them proud.”  We must understand that we are all the body of Christ. We each have a part of the body that we operate in. I knew of many who have been mislead by teaching that were false. Many filled with pride because they Worshiped the Lord on a certain day or named their Church a certain name which gave them authority and power. Through all these things, people must understand it is just a shadow of who Christ truly is. “But they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For we are joined together in his body by his strong sinews, and we grow only as we get our nourishment and strength from God.” Do not feel condemned by man, but renewed by the Spirit o the Lord. Never let the Truths of man way against, because it is the Lord that ultimately will judge your heart.

Day 47 Psalms 103:1-4

It is written, “Praise the LORD, I tell myself; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, I tell myself, and never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He ransoms me from death and surrounds me with love and tender mercies.” (Psalms 103:1-4)

“Praise the LORD, I tell myself…” I, like most others, have a hard time rejoicing and praising the Lords name through the storm. It seems like when you come under attack, it is easier to get upset at the situation to the point where you are more frustrated and upset than praising the Father. As I was reading this Psalm, I realize something very key. David here was telling himself to Praise the Lord. I think many times when we are going through trails and tribulations we just expect the Joy of the Lord to comes and consume us, but in reality, we have to Praise him to receive the Spirit of Joy.

“Praise the LORD, I tell myself, and never forget the good things he does for me.” In your time of struggle, it is easy to look at the current situation you are in and forget the times that God has rescued you. Our Father is Faithful! He can do nothing but stand upon his Word. Let us not forget the goodness of the Lord in our hour of Suffering. He has delivered us; is delivering us and will continue to deliver us in Jesus Name!

“He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. His ransomed me from death and surrounds me with love and tender mercies.”  Now this part is what excites me the most! First, when we come to God, He forgives us of our sins! that in itself should be forth praise and rejoicing! Every sin is forgiven. I want you to go through your whole life, every time you have failed, every sin you have committed and in Jesus Name, IT IS FORGIVEN! I don’t care what it is, take hold of what the Lord Died upon the Cross for you to Receive. If you were to die in this moment, let it be known that with your last breath you prayed for forgiveness, that the cleansing on the Lord was the last thought that ran through your mind. Some times we hold on to the lies of Satan, but Let the Truth of Forgiveness prevail! But I am not done yet, there is another part that come after forgiveness of sins, for you are not dead yet! It is written, “….and heals all my diseases!” Who in this hour is afflicted? If you prayed that all your sin have been forgiven, they why aren’t you claiming your healing In Jesus Name! Claim it! Claim the victory that comes with forgiveness! No where in the Bible does it says that we are to still suffer if we have repented and received the forgiveness that comes from Christ Jesus! We do not have to live in pain, we do not have to live in fear, for God is calling us to live only by His Word and His Word is Freedom! Be Free in Jesus Name, stop letting Satan rob you of the Life God has given you. In this hour I pray you stand upon his Word. It is written, ” His ransomed me from Death and surrounds me with Love and tender mercies.” After forgiveness of sins, we are healed of all diseases. After we are healed of all diseases, He ransomed us from death and surrounds us with Love and tender Mercies. Our Father who is in Heaven Loves you. If you carry one word, one memory verse or anything from what has been spoken from the Bible it is this, ” He so LOVED YOU he gave His ONLY Son!” What sin, what disease or what Situation could ever be greater than this!? Nothing, nothing is greater than this sacrifice. It took Abraham to the point of nearly killing His only son to realize the thing he waited 100 years to come from was not worthy, So what do you think you have going on in your life is so much great? I want you to focus on that, focus every sin you have ever committed, what disease in this hour you suffer with that is greater than the glory of the Lord. Speak it out loud and see how foolish it is. Nothing is greater than our God, He has given all for you to live and my prayer is that in this moment, you let nothing rob you of this gift given to us by the Blood of our Christ Jesus.

Day 46 1 Thessalonians 5:8-11

“Product of Encouragement!”

“But let us who live in the light think clearly, protected by the body armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.  For God decided to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us.  He died for us so that we can live with him forever, whether we are dead or alive at the time of his return.  So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.”(1Thessalonians 5:8-11)
“But let us who live in the light think clearly, protected by the body armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the Hope of our salvation.” As we read in this body, we see three key words; Love, Faith and Hope. In Corinthians, Paul said out of these three, Love is the greatest. But let us not just push the other two to the side. Next to Love, we are called to Faith and Hope; because it is our Faith and Hope in Christ that has delivered us. “For God decided to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us.” Mankind, who was once an enemy of the Lord, found salvation through Christ. It is hard not to really get an understanding of, “amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me,” Because it was by Grace that all man have been saved. From such an honor from the Lord, our hearts should be filled with Love, Faith and Hope.
“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” Let us always remember that encouragement is a key with the things of Christ. It is not by works that we strive after these things, but the harvest that is produced from God’s Grace in our life. God so loved us that he calls us to watch after each other and If encouragement is an by produce, let it be use by all.

Day 45 Matthew 20:28

“Heart to serve”

“Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28I thank God for the Love he has shown me in my life. I thank him because in all my ways, I acknowledge I could not make it without him. So many times in this life, we have put faith in our efforts to support ourselves, but how often do we take time to really appreciate how The Lord has kept us. Day in and day out, I work and when I get complimented, I often take the praise for myself. It is rarely that I ever do any work and give thanks to someone else for what I have done.Christ, who came into this World as a man, was God incarnate. By His own Words, he could of proclaim that all humanity serve him, but acts of Worship He did not seek, but to go forth and preach salvation and to serve those who would evenly kill him. It is beyond humbling to understand what this means. Jesus endured much and served us not for His benefit, but to make way for our redemption. I understand why works are meaningless without Love, because it was that Love that was sacrificed on a Cross for our sins.

The foolishness of the gospel will always be a stumbling block for the proud. For any man who is full of Pride does not love others, but only himself. Where Angels bowed before him in His presence, the people of the World cursed and spat on him. Many may not think they are prideful in their ways, but if any man does not have the Heart of a Servant, then he truly misses out the meaning of Love.

Day 44 Acts 8:14-17

“Receive the Holy Spirit!”

“When the apostles back in Jerusalem heard that the people of Samaria had accepted God’s message, they sent Peter and John there.  As soon as they arrived, they prayed for these new Christians to receive the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.”(Acts 8:14-17)

“When the apostles back in Jerusalem heard that the people of Samaria had accepted God’s message, they sent Peter and John there.  As soon as they arrived, they prayed for these new Christians to receive the Holy Spirit.” I can never stress the importance of receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. If you are to understand the depth of an apostle, you would only have to look at their day to day activities. As new believer were receiving the water baptism of John, the apostles would sent out to baptize in the Holy Spirit. Why was this important you may ask? And the answer is easy. Jesus promised that he would leave us a counselor who would be with us always. Most importantly is that Jesus knew that it is not by our strength that we are over comers in this life. We need the Spirit of God to empower us to fully walk out our destinies and fight against the schemes of the devil.
“The Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.” It was by receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior were they received the Holy Spirit. Beloved, if you have not received this Promise and Blessing from the Lord, I would encourage that you seek out those that will pray and Lay hands so that you may receive. Being a believer in Christ, you face many challenges that lay ahead. Be Clothed in the power of the Lord today and seek eagerly for this baptism.

Day 43 Romans 4:18-21

“Against All Hope”

“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead – since he was about a hundred years old – and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” (Romans 4:18-21)
“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” When everything around him seemed hopeless, Abraham stood fast on God’s promise to him. I know there are many of us who are in this kind of situation. We have envisioned or received the word of the Lord that tells us we are destine to do something great, but or current circumstances dictate differently.  “Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead – since he was about a hundred years old – and that Sarah’s womb was also dead.” Abraham was hundred years old and knew he wasn’t getting any younger and to add insult to injury, his wife Sarah was about the same age as well. Long pass child bearing years by all standards, Abraham believed in the Word of the Lord. In this life, we face many trails. I know for many of us, we are facing a situation where it seems impossible for God to work things out, but Glory be unto God who is worthy to be praised. God will make a way out of no way,  But it is by our Faith that we are judged.
“Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” Abraham did not waver in his Faith in the Lord. I know it is hard to praise him through the storm, but for those who are faithful, the promises that the Lord put into your life is waiting. Against all hope, we are called to have faith.

Day 42 John 4:19-24

“Sir,” the woman said, “you must be a prophet.  So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship, while we Samaritans claim it is here at Mount Gerizim, where our ancestors worshiped?” Jesus replied, “Believe me; the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father here or in Jerusalem. You Samaritans know so little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about him, for salvation comes through the Jews. But the time is coming and is already here when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for anyone who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”
“Spirit and Truth!”
“So tell me, why is it that you Jews insist that Jerusalem is the only place of worship…” I remember having several people tell me that they were having issues with finding God in Church. That they had went to Church all their life and never able to have that relationship that he saw with most. All I could say that they were exactly right and I understood why they weren’t God in Church building, because that isn’t were dwells! I used to believe that it was enough to just go to church every Sunday and attend youth meetings, but I soon found that my life wasn’t changing. I would read the Bible and think how incredible how God would use these men and women of Faith, never understanding that the Lord wanted to use me in the same way. Jesus replied, “Believe me, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father here or in Jerusalem .” John 4:19-24
Now why would Jesus state that it wouldn’t matter where we worshiped the Father? To look at this closely, he said a time is coming. Do we as Christians believe that this time is here? For Salvation isn’t found in the Church, it is found within the Father. Jesus goes on to say, “For salvation comes through the Jews. But the time is coming and is already here when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth.” True worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth. We are called not to look at our worshiping in the natural, but how we are in the supernatural and not only that, we are called to worship in truth. Jesus is the way, the Light and the Truth who came to deliver the promise of the Holy Spirit or the Spirit of Truth. Meditate and Pray for revelation on the Word of the Lord. God is seeking those who will pray unto in your heaven language in the Spirit. Jesus came to be the Living Truth and we should seek to live or Life after his example. Don’t let Sunday or being within the Church walls be the only time you worship in Spirit and in Truth. We are the People and now is the Time.
“For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” The Lord your God is a Spirit. And as we receive discernment on these things, we must understand that any other king of worship falls short of Gods Standard. He has created us to worship him. A mighty God and us as mortal humans; shall we seek to be consumed in the Spirit! If you want to receive supernatural blessing in your life, you have to be prepared to serve you God in a supernatural way. My Prayer today is that we not limit our worship of him in Jerusalem, but we come and worship him in Spirit and in Truth.

Day 41 Jeremiah 1:4-10

” The Womb of Destiny!”

“The Lord gave me a message. He said, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.” “O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” “Don’t say that,” the Lord replied, “for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” Then the Lord touched my mouth and said, “See, I have put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms.” (Jeremiah 1:4-10)

“The Lord gave me a message. He said, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.” Now, I want to read something again that you might have missed. “The Lord gave me a message…” Now who gave him a message? It was the Lord. Now if it was a message that was only for Jeremiah, there would be no use in sharing this Word from the Lord if it was truly for him, but this was not the case. This message that was sent to Jeremiah was intended for him to share to the people of the world. And God’s message is this. “Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.” And that is exactly it. God has spoken and we all should rejoice! But it is man who wants to always question Gods for our life. “O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” Beloved, it is not by our strength that we do these things, even more, if we are commissioned by God himself, what do we lack to speak to the nation? Nothing! We lack nothing! If we have a mustard seed of Faith, we are guaranteed to do all things! “Don’t say that,” the Lord replied, “for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you.” So let me reiterate, Stop telling the Lord what he can not do! Stop saying what you Lack and start claiming what he has for you! “And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” God has said it and you are commanded in Jesus Name to do it!

“Then the Lord touched my mouth and said, “See, I have put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms.” See, what we must understand that there is a time between Gods assigning of Jeremiah’s destiny before Birth until the time that he was appointed. Even though he was set apart, he did not know these things until God came to command him to go out into the nations. Even though Jeremiah felt that he was too young to do these things, The Lord reassured him by touching his Mouth and said that he would be with him where ever he went. God has given us the same power of the Mouth, for it is written that live and death is within the tongue. I tell you this today; God has never given up on us. Through it all, God commanded our destinies when we were in the womb. Have faith and believe these things; God has appointed you to be spokes men to the nations! God truly loves you and is calling for every man, woman and child to rise up and answer the calling of your destiny!
