“Tradition of Men!”
“So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new-moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules were only shadows of the real thing, Christ himself. Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on self-denial. And don’t let anyone say you must worship angels, even though they say they have had visions about this. These people claim to be so humble, but their sinful minds have made them proud. But they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For we are joined together in his body by his strong sinews, and we grow only as we get our nourishment and strength from God.” (Colossians 2:16-19)
“So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new-moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.” We live in a time of spirit and in truth. It is in Gods Word states that we should not condemn anyone who holds certain days or holidays as holy. “For these rules were only shadows of the real thing, Christ himself. Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on self-denial. And don’t let anyone say you must worship angels, even though they say they have had visions about this.”
“These people claim to be so humble, but their sinful minds have made them proud.” We must understand that we are all the body of Christ. We each have a part of the body that we operate in. I knew of many who have been mislead by teaching that were false. Many filled with pride because they Worshiped the Lord on a certain day or named their Church a certain name which gave them authority and power. Through all these things, people must understand it is just a shadow of who Christ truly is. “But they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For we are joined together in his body by his strong sinews, and we grow only as we get our nourishment and strength from God.” Do not feel condemned by man, but renewed by the Spirit o the Lord. Never let the Truths of man way against, because it is the Lord that ultimately will judge your heart.

My name should tell you that I disagree with what you believe… but in this post, I think you are on target with the message from the book. This lesson applies to all, not simply to those who believe in a god. Take the Jesus references out, boil it down to it’s core meaning, and this is good advice for all.
