Day 48 Colossians 2:16-19

“Tradition of Men!”
“So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new-moon ceremonies or Sabbaths. For these rules were only shadows of the real thing, Christ himself. Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on self-denial. And don’t let anyone say you must worship angels, even though they say they have had visions about this. These people claim to be so humble, but their sinful minds have made them proud. But they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For we are joined together in his body by his strong sinews, and we grow only as we get our nourishment and strength from God.” (Colossians 2:16-19)
“So don’t let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating certain holy days or new-moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.” We live in a time of spirit and in truth. It is in Gods Word states that we should not condemn anyone who holds certain days or holidays as holy. “For these rules were only shadows of the real thing, Christ himself. Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on self-denial. And don’t let anyone say you must worship angels, even though they say they have had visions about this.”
“These people claim to be so humble, but their sinful minds have made them proud.”  We must understand that we are all the body of Christ. We each have a part of the body that we operate in. I knew of many who have been mislead by teaching that were false. Many filled with pride because they Worshiped the Lord on a certain day or named their Church a certain name which gave them authority and power. Through all these things, people must understand it is just a shadow of who Christ truly is. “But they are not connected to Christ, the head of the body. For we are joined together in his body by his strong sinews, and we grow only as we get our nourishment and strength from God.” Do not feel condemned by man, but renewed by the Spirit o the Lord. Never let the Truths of man way against, because it is the Lord that ultimately will judge your heart.

Day 47 Psalms 103:1-4

It is written, “Praise the LORD, I tell myself; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, I tell myself, and never forget the good things he does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He ransoms me from death and surrounds me with love and tender mercies.” (Psalms 103:1-4)

“Praise the LORD, I tell myself…” I, like most others, have a hard time rejoicing and praising the Lords name through the storm. It seems like when you come under attack, it is easier to get upset at the situation to the point where you are more frustrated and upset than praising the Father. As I was reading this Psalm, I realize something very key. David here was telling himself to Praise the Lord. I think many times when we are going through trails and tribulations we just expect the Joy of the Lord to comes and consume us, but in reality, we have to Praise him to receive the Spirit of Joy.

“Praise the LORD, I tell myself, and never forget the good things he does for me.” In your time of struggle, it is easy to look at the current situation you are in and forget the times that God has rescued you. Our Father is Faithful! He can do nothing but stand upon his Word. Let us not forget the goodness of the Lord in our hour of Suffering. He has delivered us; is delivering us and will continue to deliver us in Jesus Name!

“He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. His ransomed me from death and surrounds me with love and tender mercies.”  Now this part is what excites me the most! First, when we come to God, He forgives us of our sins! that in itself should be forth praise and rejoicing! Every sin is forgiven. I want you to go through your whole life, every time you have failed, every sin you have committed and in Jesus Name, IT IS FORGIVEN! I don’t care what it is, take hold of what the Lord Died upon the Cross for you to Receive. If you were to die in this moment, let it be known that with your last breath you prayed for forgiveness, that the cleansing on the Lord was the last thought that ran through your mind. Some times we hold on to the lies of Satan, but Let the Truth of Forgiveness prevail! But I am not done yet, there is another part that come after forgiveness of sins, for you are not dead yet! It is written, “….and heals all my diseases!” Who in this hour is afflicted? If you prayed that all your sin have been forgiven, they why aren’t you claiming your healing In Jesus Name! Claim it! Claim the victory that comes with forgiveness! No where in the Bible does it says that we are to still suffer if we have repented and received the forgiveness that comes from Christ Jesus! We do not have to live in pain, we do not have to live in fear, for God is calling us to live only by His Word and His Word is Freedom! Be Free in Jesus Name, stop letting Satan rob you of the Life God has given you. In this hour I pray you stand upon his Word. It is written, ” His ransomed me from Death and surrounds me with Love and tender mercies.” After forgiveness of sins, we are healed of all diseases. After we are healed of all diseases, He ransomed us from death and surrounds us with Love and tender Mercies. Our Father who is in Heaven Loves you. If you carry one word, one memory verse or anything from what has been spoken from the Bible it is this, ” He so LOVED YOU he gave His ONLY Son!” What sin, what disease or what Situation could ever be greater than this!? Nothing, nothing is greater than this sacrifice. It took Abraham to the point of nearly killing His only son to realize the thing he waited 100 years to come from was not worthy, So what do you think you have going on in your life is so much great? I want you to focus on that, focus every sin you have ever committed, what disease in this hour you suffer with that is greater than the glory of the Lord. Speak it out loud and see how foolish it is. Nothing is greater than our God, He has given all for you to live and my prayer is that in this moment, you let nothing rob you of this gift given to us by the Blood of our Christ Jesus.

Day 46 1 Thessalonians 5:8-11

“Product of Encouragement!”

“But let us who live in the light think clearly, protected by the body armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.  For God decided to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us.  He died for us so that we can live with him forever, whether we are dead or alive at the time of his return.  So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.”(1Thessalonians 5:8-11)
“But let us who live in the light think clearly, protected by the body armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the Hope of our salvation.” As we read in this body, we see three key words; Love, Faith and Hope. In Corinthians, Paul said out of these three, Love is the greatest. But let us not just push the other two to the side. Next to Love, we are called to Faith and Hope; because it is our Faith and Hope in Christ that has delivered us. “For God decided to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us.” Mankind, who was once an enemy of the Lord, found salvation through Christ. It is hard not to really get an understanding of, “amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me,” Because it was by Grace that all man have been saved. From such an honor from the Lord, our hearts should be filled with Love, Faith and Hope.
“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” Let us always remember that encouragement is a key with the things of Christ. It is not by works that we strive after these things, but the harvest that is produced from God’s Grace in our life. God so loved us that he calls us to watch after each other and If encouragement is an by produce, let it be use by all.

Day 45 Matthew 20:28

“Heart to serve”

“Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28I thank God for the Love he has shown me in my life. I thank him because in all my ways, I acknowledge I could not make it without him. So many times in this life, we have put faith in our efforts to support ourselves, but how often do we take time to really appreciate how The Lord has kept us. Day in and day out, I work and when I get complimented, I often take the praise for myself. It is rarely that I ever do any work and give thanks to someone else for what I have done.Christ, who came into this World as a man, was God incarnate. By His own Words, he could of proclaim that all humanity serve him, but acts of Worship He did not seek, but to go forth and preach salvation and to serve those who would evenly kill him. It is beyond humbling to understand what this means. Jesus endured much and served us not for His benefit, but to make way for our redemption. I understand why works are meaningless without Love, because it was that Love that was sacrificed on a Cross for our sins.

The foolishness of the gospel will always be a stumbling block for the proud. For any man who is full of Pride does not love others, but only himself. Where Angels bowed before him in His presence, the people of the World cursed and spat on him. Many may not think they are prideful in their ways, but if any man does not have the Heart of a Servant, then he truly misses out the meaning of Love.
