Day 267 2 John 1:1-10

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for New Beginnings, For we have Been Bought for a price we could never repay! I Thank the Lord for Covering, For even we are not aware, God is Watching over Us! I Thank the Lord for Grace, For we have not earned what our Father has Died for!

It is Written, “The elder, To the lady chosen by God and to her children, whom I love in the truth–and not I only, but also all who know the truth– because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love. It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us. And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love. I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them.” 2 John 1:1-10

Prayer: I pray Lord that you continue to Bless the House Hold of those who are called to rise Families that will serve you in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 230 John 21:15-25

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Love, Even when we fail, God is able to reinstate! I Thank the Lord for Life, For not all Men shall taste Death! I Thank the Lord for His Renewing power, For everyman was Lost before He was Destined!

It is Written, “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep. Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!” Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?” This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true. Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” John 21:15-25

Prayer: Dear Abba Father, I Pray that those who have denied you in the past be questioned three times on their Love for you and given the chance to show they Love you in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 140 Esphesians 5:8-20

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for reconciliation, for what has been lost is being returned 10 fold in Jesus Name! I Thank the Lord for being lost, for Home will always be Found in Him! I Thank the Lord for the Power of His Name, for in it is the Power to do all things!

Psalm: I praise you oh Father, that in my search for Love you have given me trust. Men shall seek happiness in the desert of this life, but Lord you have called your children to the living waters of your love. Father, in the days I stood upon my pride, you came forth and showed me the path of humbleness. Everyone with pride will be great in their own hearts, but those who are truly humble will serve others and not themselves.

It is Written, “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible–and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Be very careful, then, how you live–not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:8-20

Prayer: I Pray for 2014 to be the Year that God’s Children take hold of Their Destinies and move forward in strength in their Faith in Jesus Name!

Day 53 Hebrews 11:5-6

“It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying-“suddenly he disappeared because God took him.” But before he was taken up, he was approved as pleasing to God. So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”(Hebrews 11:5-6)
.
“It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying-“suddenly he disappeared because God took him.” When I read this, I think Enoch was a Man of God who walked with more than a Mustard Seed of Faith! Can you image one Sunday your pastor getting up in front of the Congregation and preaching the Word of the Lord and then telling the Church that God was going to take him up to Heaven? Think about it, every Sunday service, after he delivers the Word, he tells his congregation that he will soon depart from you until that one Faithful Day the chariot of Fire comes among you and he is gone. I am not talking about Enoch now, but Elijah who was another Man of God who did not taste Death. But how is this possible? It was Faith in the Power of God that these men lived such righteous lives that they were taken up. “But before he was taken up, he was approved as pleasing to God. So, you see, “it is impossible to please God without Faith.” Never lose your Faith! Always remember your tongue has the power of Life and Death.
.
I have had many people contact me and tell me that they are losing their Faith, or lost their Faith. I have said before how news like this deeply saddens me even more than persons who has passed away. With Faith, all things are possible! But without Faith, you can not be pleasing in the sight of the Lord. You are not your flesh and the sins that may come forth. You must have Faith and believe that God has better plans for your life. Beloved, stop looking at the natural and the world around you to receive validation of God’s purpose in your life! I know it is hard, but if you live by the standards of the world, you will die by them. God purpose for you is ever present. I know many of you are struggle in your own Faith in what God is Calling you to do, but just don’t give up. I heard it said once by a Pastor that he rather have 10 percent of the full vision 10 percent of the full vision. There is a difference, because you are not limited in your Faith.
.
“Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Sincerely seek after the Lord! Never give up on Faith, because God isn’t ready to give up on you. Be encouraged everyday to strive after what God has for you. I know this life is hard and that is why we can not do it alone. Call upon his name through the storm and never stop believing. Though we may struggle, I never forget His Name and when the time comes, I know He will not forget mine!

Day 21 1 King 18:42-44

“Can You Hear The Thunder?”

“Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and fell to the ground and prayed. Then he said to his servant, “Go and look out toward the sea.” The servant went and looked, but he returned to Elijah and said, “I didn’t see anything.” Seven times Elijah told him to go and look, and seven times he went. Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a hand rising from the sea.” Then Elijah shouted, “Hurry to Ahab and tell him, `Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don’t hurry, the rain will stop you!’ ” (1 Kings 18:42-44)

.

“Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and fell to the ground and prayed.” There is a place in our lives where the Lord wants us to get to. I have noticed that nothing comes easy with this walk with the Lord. For Elijah, it was to the top of Mount Carmel , for some it may be a position at work, school or life in general. We are a people powered by movement. When Elijah made it to the top of the mountain he fell down to his knees and prayed unto the Lord. “Then he said to his servant, “Go and look out toward the sea.” The servant went and looked, but he returned to Elijah and said, “I didn’t see anything.”  I always think to myself if faith was truly in seeing, would we still believe? Sometimes you pray so hard for something to come to pass that if it doesn’t come to pass, we are let down.
.
“Seven times Elijah told him to go and look, and seven times he went. Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, “I saw a little cloud about the size of a hand rising from the sea.” I know everyone of us is pressing into our destinies at some point. For many of us it may be just a hand size cloud, but I am here to tell you believe and it shall rain! It is by faith that you can take the little you have and believe in the harvest that will over flow. I don’t know if you have ever seen a mustard seed, but from this little seed, comes a huge plant. We are all little mustard seeds when compared to the size of this world, but there is a harvest inside of you that is waiting to be birthed and it shall be blessing to all.

Day 19 1 Kings 19:4-5

“When you Feel Like Giving Up!”.

“Then he went on alone into the desert, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down and slept under the broom tree.” (1 Kings 19:4-5).

“I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life…”  Are you tired? Oh, if someone told you the trials and tribulations that you have to face when accepting Christ into your life, would you have ran away into the desert? Even today, I speak to many Christians who feel beat up. They have been so faithful for some long that sometimes they long to bypass living in this world and long to worship Our Father in Heaven. Some long to be just like Elijah and ask that the Lord take the Breath away from them.
.
But what did the Lord do? He sent an Angel to Feed Elijah. Why didn’t God let Elijah die as he requested, because God has a greater plan than death. For the Lord let Elijah rest, but soon the Father Call him to the mountain to see His Glory. Beloved, I know there are many of us at different stages in our life. So many Christians today feel like they are dead to God and His purpose for their life, but I tell you this, you are not dead, but sleeping underneath the broom tree! If it was Gods will for you to die, you would be dead, But God has kept you and sustains you even through all your circumstances.
.
“And he did deliver us from Death and will continue to deliver us.” (2 Corinthians 1:10) God will never forsake you. He has delivered you from death and he will continue to deliver you. Elijah lay under the tree and asked to die, but God did not take his life, he sustained it. Never give up! God is calling that in this time of Pressure and in this time of need, we should be broken and down on our knees in Prayer.
.
“While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could deliver him out of death. And God heard his prayers because of his reverence for God. So even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.” (Hebrew 5:7-8)
.
“With a Loud cry and tears…Jesus was God’s Son; he learned obedience from the things he suffered.” Even the Jesus Cried and Suffered, how much more do we suffer? It is by loud cries and tears that the Lord answers our prayers and pleading. If you are feeling the pressure to give up, cry out to Jesus. Cry out to our Father in Heaven to send his Angel to be by your side. Elijah thought he was running away from the Father in the Desert to die, but what he didn’t realize that he was running into the arms of the Lord. Even when you are feeling the pressure to give up, know that the Lord is not ready for you to give in. Believe, Believe, Believe! Rise up, for the Lord your God’s purpose for your Life and it was not death, but and eternity with Our Father in Heaven!

Day 9 2 Kings 2:8-9

“The Great Divide”
.
“Elijah took his cloak, rolled it up and struck the water with it. The water divided to the right and to the left, and the two of them crossed over on dry ground. When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what I can do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.”(2 kings 2:8-9)
.
So much meat and revelation, I hope you are ready to receive! I have title this devotional the Great Divide, because I see there is a division of what the Bible teaches and what men have been preaching. I had an encounter with God in which I vowed before Him that I would preach His Word. We are living in a day and time where Hollywood has became more astonishing than the kingdom of God. The problem lies in showing people the True Word of the Bible. We have watered down the milk to the degree where meat is close to impossible to chew. “Elijah took his cloak, rolled it up and struck the water with it. The water divided to the right and to the left, and the two of them crossed over on dry ground.” Now, most people are familiar with Moses parting the Red Sea and getting across it, thinking that was a onetime event. As we have read here, Elijah stuck the water with His cloak and the Water Divided also! Now, you much understand what the Lord is showing us here. Not only was the water parted, but the land in which he crosses was dry.
.
God has made a provision of Faith which is whole. It would have been amazing for Elijah to cross the water and if the ground was muddy and no one would say it took away from the miracle. But Elijah knew in His Heart that when the Lord parted the waters, the ground would be dry. This is the Faith that God calls us to operate in. “Tell me, what I can do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.” Why are people so afraid for asking for a double portion? The Lord Word says we have not because we ask not. I used to think it was a spirit of fear that held people back, but God show me it’s a lack of Faith in Believing in a Double Portion of His Spirit.
.
“Then Elisha took the cloak that had fallen from him and struck the water with it.” Where now is the LORD, the God of Elijah?” he asked. When he struck the water, it divided to the right and to the left, and he crossed over.”(2 Kings 2:14) Again we see the power and authority to part the waters was passed on Because Elisha called to God to be shown that He was with him. I know by Gods’ Word that this is for us today. It is not the fact that these things aren’t available, we as a people have not cried out for them. In Jesus Name, Pray for the Double portion to be upon you today!
