Day 121 1 Peter 4:12-19

Thanksgiving: I Thank The Lord for times of testing, for our strength comes from the Lord. I Thank The Lord for suffering, In it we amplify The Spirit of the Lord! I Thank the Lord for Faithfulness, for with it we are able to praise him day to day!

It is Written, “ Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.” 1 Peter 4:12-19

Prayer: May Prayer is for the Less fortunate to be Blessed in this season of Joy!

Day 22 Revelations 13:10

“Beyond Death”
“If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.” (Revelations 13:10)
.
I see we have two ways we can enter death. One being by the ways of the natural world, as such they call it a natural death by sickness and disease or a super natural death; by sword or crucifixion. I know this may not be a daily thought to most Christians, but lets us not believe these two options do not exist. “This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.” Not everyone will experience this kind of Death, but praise the Lord to those who are chosen and carry this mantle. Many may question to why I speak of these things, not to inflict fear of Death, but to the greater reality of the Fear of God. We owe nothing to the world that was brought by the Blood of Christ and by these things we must live with an understanding of the price that was paid. Death is a day of redemption. For our mortal bodies are from earth and the day of our Death, the earth shall reclaim the dust that we were made of. But in the balance of that, we are left with our spirit.
.
Many will have a fear of death of flesh, but rarely take this stance on their eternal soul. For by the flesh we are here in a mere blink of an eye, for this is just preparation of what’s to come. So much knowledge and so little understanding of the things of God and we must not by ignorant of what has been told. There will come a day when things that men held as foolish will confound the wise, and then the wise who were all knowing will find their wisdom as foolishness. Let us take up the wisdom of Christ who openly offers to all and see beyond the Death of the flesh, to the eternity of the Spirit.

Day 19 1 Kings 19:4-5

“When you Feel Like Giving Up!”.

“Then he went on alone into the desert, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down and slept under the broom tree.” (1 Kings 19:4-5).

“I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life…”  Are you tired? Oh, if someone told you the trials and tribulations that you have to face when accepting Christ into your life, would you have ran away into the desert? Even today, I speak to many Christians who feel beat up. They have been so faithful for some long that sometimes they long to bypass living in this world and long to worship Our Father in Heaven. Some long to be just like Elijah and ask that the Lord take the Breath away from them.
.
But what did the Lord do? He sent an Angel to Feed Elijah. Why didn’t God let Elijah die as he requested, because God has a greater plan than death. For the Lord let Elijah rest, but soon the Father Call him to the mountain to see His Glory. Beloved, I know there are many of us at different stages in our life. So many Christians today feel like they are dead to God and His purpose for their life, but I tell you this, you are not dead, but sleeping underneath the broom tree! If it was Gods will for you to die, you would be dead, But God has kept you and sustains you even through all your circumstances.
.
“And he did deliver us from Death and will continue to deliver us.” (2 Corinthians 1:10) God will never forsake you. He has delivered you from death and he will continue to deliver you. Elijah lay under the tree and asked to die, but God did not take his life, he sustained it. Never give up! God is calling that in this time of Pressure and in this time of need, we should be broken and down on our knees in Prayer.
.
“While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could deliver him out of death. And God heard his prayers because of his reverence for God. So even though Jesus was God’s Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.” (Hebrew 5:7-8)
.
“With a Loud cry and tears…Jesus was God’s Son; he learned obedience from the things he suffered.” Even the Jesus Cried and Suffered, how much more do we suffer? It is by loud cries and tears that the Lord answers our prayers and pleading. If you are feeling the pressure to give up, cry out to Jesus. Cry out to our Father in Heaven to send his Angel to be by your side. Elijah thought he was running away from the Father in the Desert to die, but what he didn’t realize that he was running into the arms of the Lord. Even when you are feeling the pressure to give up, know that the Lord is not ready for you to give in. Believe, Believe, Believe! Rise up, for the Lord your God’s purpose for your Life and it was not death, but and eternity with Our Father in Heaven!
