Day 16 Romans 11:3-6

“Chosen By Grace”
.
“Lord They have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left and they are trying to kill me! And what was God’s answer to him? I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal. So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by Grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were by works, Grace would no longer be Grace.” (Romans 11:3-6)
.
“Lord They have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left and they are trying to kill me!” Everyday we are called to face some situation in which the enemy is trying to receive victory in our life. It can be as simple as waking in the morning to go to work or sending doubt your way about the things the Lord has promised you. Even through all this, we are quick to look outside ourselves at the people around us, to judge our situation. Especially those who we feel will aren’t doing the things of the Lord. Even though we are enduring a lot, it just seems like the body isn’t doing all that it can. “And what was God’s answer to him? I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” See, this is what so awesome about God; Even through all turmoil that we see around us, he has unseen people Chosen to do His Will. So what does that mean for us?  “So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by Grace.” And all God’s People say Amen! We should rejoice in the fact that it was by Grace that saved us and not by works!
.
“And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were by works, Grace would no longer be Grace.” And this is what it means that God’s Grace is sufficient for our Lives. For it was not for Grace, we would be never be redeemed in the Lord. This is why Jesus came and was among those who were viewed as outsider, outcast and just forgot. He brings a Message of Hope, because it is not by works that we receive this salvation. Believe today in God’s Chosen Grace, for when you do, your life will never be the same.
