Day 60 Hebrews 3:12-14

It is written,“Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must encourage each other every day, as long as it is called “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.” (Hebrews 3:12-14)
.
Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.” I remember speaking to a gentleman who told me that he had lost his Faith. He felt that the sin’s he had committed in the past were too great for God to forgive him of. In buying into this belief, he stop serving the Lord altogether and lived a life believing that he could never serve the Lord. “Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters make sure your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving….” By understand this passage; we can see how someone can buy into the lie of not being unforgiving by the Lord. I know many who have prayed for the forgiveness of the Lord, but their Heart condition is so filled with unbelief that they did not change their sinful ways.
.
We must understand that unforgiveness doesn’t come from the Lord, but from our own heart condition. If our hearts were filled with Faith and Joy, we would live a life a victory, but evil things hold us back from the blessings of the Lord. “Choose you today who you will serve.” Who are you going to live for today? We have a choice of standing on what God has professed in our life or living a life of sin. In the case of this gentleman, he was living a life in a backslid state for so long, that his disobedience became a life style. People live a life of sin for so long, they start believing that is who they are, but rejoice, because Jesus came to set us free of these things!
.
“You must encourage each other every day, as long as it is called “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.” As we read, we must encourage each other everyday, so that none of us will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. Just like the gentlemen who I talked to, he was so deceived by his sin, he was hardened against God. He believed that God could not forgive him and cleanse him of his past, because he was not encouraged of the Promise of the Lord today. “You must encourage each other every day, as long as it is called “today.” We are all called to encourage each other everyday. If we truly love each other like the Father in Heaven, then we are called to Love and encourage each other as long a sit is called “today.” I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of one day that I wake up that wasn’t called today! This isn’t a misprint; God was making a point with his Word. Everyday is called today and we are called to encourage one another so that known of us are hardened by sin. Act of the Word of the Lord, Believe in the saving power of his Word and let today be the day where you go out and encourage others in the saving power of the Lord!

Day 54 Colossians 3:15-17

“Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are all called to live in peace and always be thankful. Let the words of Christ, in all their richness, live in your hearts and make you wise. Use his words to teach and counsel each other. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.  And whatever you do or say let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him to God the Father.” (Colossians 3:15-17)

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.” When I was doing my daily reading yesterday, I came across this verse. I had a long day at work and really was just tried from the day’s events. When I read, “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,” I repeated this several times over. I noticed then that I accepted the Word into my heart and could physically feel myself stat to relax. I know some may not see the importance of this, but as we read in the next verse we can see why we are called to be at peace. “For as members of one body you are all called to live in peace.”  Then I started to realize and understand the principle and point of this verse. As one body of Christ, we are all tied into each other like an arm is connected to the hand.
.
Have you ever noticed when you have a pain in one area of your body, it affects the body as a whole. I remember many times when I sprained or broken a body part and how it changed and affected the rest of my body. God has Called us to be at peace, so as the Body, we shall have peace. It is always hard to understand the importance or role we play in the Kingdom of the Lord. We always want to believe our actions only affect ourselves and no one around us, but the reality is, just like a dominoes effect, your emotions bounce off of others.
.
Let us today be conscience of these things. If we are to be true examples of the Lord, then we must walk in his way. “Use his words to teach and counsel each other.” We are blessed richly with the Word of the Lord. As this is the case for many, let’s make it a point to counsel and teach others with what we have learned ourselves. Let the peace and Joy reign in your heart. For the Joy of the Lord could never be replace by anything we can find in this world. Peace comes to those who seek the inner sanctuary of the Lord. Rest within him, for there is a place of sound mind that the Lord wants you to be. “Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankful hearts.”  Once you have experienced the Joy of the Lord, watch as your body sings the praises of the Father. Rejoice in the Lord! Be Renewed In Jesus Name and seek to Gods Peace. Blessed is the One who knows he is truly Blessed with the Peace of the Lord.

Day 51 1 John 3:18-20

” Words are Wise, but Actions speak Louder!”

“Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before the Lord, even if our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.”(1 John 3:18-20)

.

“Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions.” I truly have a heart for The Lord. I say this because God has shown me from time after time that his Grace and Mercy is sufficient for every man and woman. I have heard story after story about how God has worked in different people’s life around the world. No matter the race, language or color; God has provided for all. Gods’ Word is more than just words we read on a page; they are Words that produce Action. When God says it is by Faith that we receive our blessings, it is not an empty promise. For the Bible says that God’s Word will not return Void which means there is a real force and power behind it. So what does this mean to us? That there is a standard that God has set that we should all follow; let us not speak of love, but put it into action.
.
“It is by our actions that we know we are living in the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before the Lord, even if our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything.” I know it may sound crazy to most, but even if we feel in our hearts that we could have acted more in Love, God knows us better than we know ourselves. It is with the passion and desire that we seek after the Will of the Lord that God himself has put inside of us. For the heart does not know the Will of our Father in Heaven. The time of speaking in Love will never change, but let us pursue the action of Love above all things.

Day 24 Luke 15:11-32

“Spirit of Rejection!”
.
“Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, “Father, give me my share of the estate.” So he divided his property between them. “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to geed pig. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. When he came to his senses, he said, “How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.” ‘But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. “The son said to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. ‘But the father said to his servants, “Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it let’s have a feast and celebrate. “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. “Your brother has come: He replied. “And your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound. “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, “Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave e even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him! “My son, “the father said, “you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and now he is found.” (Luke 15:11-32)
.
Jesus, we come before you with broken hearts in this Hour. These Broken hearts are those of the ones that have been caught up in the disillusion of two sons’. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I rebuke this Spirit of Rejection of God’s people and in this moment, I pray in those who feel they are not wanted back in the ministry. The Father rejoices at the return of His son’s and I believe you are calling all the generals home in the Name of Jesus. There have been many who have taken their portion from the Ministry and walked away. My Prayers right now is that they stop dreaming of eating the pig slop and come home and feed off of what the Father has got.
.
But what I really what to focus on is the those who are in the Father house who are scorned at his Brothers return. Lord, the Spirit of rejection only has power with people come in agreement with it. In Jesus Name, Deliver those in the Church who feel they have earned your love more so than those who have sinned and seek forgiveness. Let every servant of God know in their hearts that they are servants and that no man faithfulness is greater than another man return from sin. The son who complains that He has not received is the Son who has not asked and by your Word, this is true. I pray that the walls between the backslider and the Church are broken in Jesus Name and open the flood gates so that the Sons’ of the Most High God may come running back in the arms of the Father. A reunion is coming, The lost Brides’ are returning to be prepared, In Jesus Name, let’s welcome them in!

Day 10 Philemon 1:6-7

“Generous in Faith”

.

“You are generous because of your faith. And I am praying that you will really put your generosity to work, for in so doing you will come to an understanding of all the good things we can do for Christ.  I myself have gained much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because your kindness has so often refreshed the hearts of God’s people.” (Philemon 1:6-7 NLT)
.
“You are generous because of your faith. And I am praying that you will really put your generosity to work.” Amen! I thank God that by our Faith, we can have abundance! Jesus spoke that with a mustard seed of Faith, you can move mountains! And the Best Part of this all is that our Faith is measured by our Belief. If we believe that God spoken Word will not come back Void, then what could stop us from receiving everything that we prayed for? We have access to the greatest power source ever and God says all we have to do is Have Faith. But with this Faith, we are not blessing ourselves, but others. “And I am praying that you will really put your generosity to work.” Most people when they think of using their Faith, they believe that it is supposed to be used for themselves. But as Paul is writing here, we are called to put it work on others, “for in so doing you will come to an understanding of all the good things we can do for Christ.” By being generous in our Faith with others, we are drawing near to the understanding of Christ! Blessed is the person who whose does the will of the Father! By sharing our Faith, we are taking on the position of our Father in Heaven.
.
To further understand this, Paul writes, “I myself have gained much joy and comfort from your love.” But isn’t that true? I know when I started doing these daily devotional, my intention was on Faith I would follow what the Lord put on my heart. But after awhile, I started receiving emails from many people who were truly blessed by the daily scriptures and for many; it was the only word they would receive that day. Beloved, we must understand that in these times that encouragement to the body of Christ is crucial. You never really know whose lives will be changed by just sharing the Word of the Lord. Just like Paul stated, I receive much Joy and Comfort from the Love of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ who are touched by the Word of the Lord. “Your kindness has so often refreshed the hearts of God’s people.” If today, I can help to refresh the Heart of one person in the Body of Christ, then my Generosity of Faith has no gone unrewarded. We are all in this Fight of Faith together. Open your heart to and share the word of the Lord to someone who needs it, because when you are generous to other, you as a Disciple draws closer to Christ.
