Day 296 James 1:1-9

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Trails, For they build us up to bring forth Perseverance in Jesus Name! I Thank the Lord for Suffering, For we are tested so He can bring us through! I Thank the Lord for Humility, For we are called to Humble ourselves before the Lord!

It is Written, “ James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings. Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position.” James 1:1-9

Prayer: I Pray Father that you protect your Children Always as we go through every Trail and tribulation in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 295 Psalms 56:1-13

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Fear Not, For we are called to put our trust into the Lord! I Thank the Lord for trails, For every challenge we come against, our Faith is in The Father! I Thank the Lord for Security, For we cling to the promises that are greater than our situation!

It is Written, “For the director of music. To the tune of “A Dove on Distant Oaks.” Of David. A miktam. When the Philistines had seized him in Gath. Be merciful to me, my God, for my enemies are in hot pursuit; all day long they press their attack. My adversaries pursue me all day long; in their pride many are attacking me. When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise– in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? All day long they twist my words; all their schemes are for my ruin. They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps, hoping to take my life. Because of their wickedness do not let them escape; in your anger, God, bring the nations down. Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll– are they not in your record? Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise– in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? I am under vows to you, my God; I will present my thank offerings to you. For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.” Psalms 56:1-13

Prayer: I Pray Father that you comfort your Children as we face every hard situation within our lives in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 294 Luke 4:1-15

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Fasting, For we strive to seek the food beyond our flesh! I Thank the Lord for Temptation, For with it comes the reality that the enemy is still on the prowl! I Thank the Lord for The Holy Spirit, For when we overcome we are strengthen by the Spirit of God!

It is Written, “Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry. The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.'” The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'” The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down from here. For it is written: ” ‘He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'” Jesus answered, “It is said: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'” When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time. Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.” Luke 4:1-15

Prayer: I Pray Father that you prepare us for the Time of Temptation that is coming and that is now upon us in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 291 John 2:12-25

Thanksgiving: I Thank The Lord for Scripture, For God has given us the Word as a Confirmation of His Love! I Thank the Lord for Testimony, For Jesus came to show us who we are all called to be! I Thank the Lord for Miracles, For God is not dead, He is surely Alive!

It is Written, “After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days. When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.” The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.” John 2:12-25

Prayer: I Pray Father that we as your Children take hold of the Zeal for your house in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 290 1 Corinthians 9:11-23

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Freedom, For we have chosen to become servants and Christ Came to Serve! I Thank the Lord for Adaptability, For we are called to Change in many different situation to save the Lost! I Thank the Lord for Service, For we are strengthened while in the Service of the True King!

It is Written, “ If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? If others have this right of support from you, shouldn’t we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ. Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple, and that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar? In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel. But I have not used any of these rights. And I am not writing this in the hope that you will do such things for me, for I would rather die than allow anyone to deprive me of this boast. For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! If I preach voluntarily, I have a reward; if not voluntarily, I am simply discharging the trust committed to me. What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights as a preacher of the gospel. Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” 1 Corinthians 9:11-23

Prayer: I Pray Father that your Children who seek to Preach the Gospel do it for the Love of your Testimony in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 288 1 Corinthians 1:18-31

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Boasting, For we are called to take pride in the things of God! I Thank the Lord for The Foolishness of the Gospel, For it is the Wisdom that confounds the Wise of this World! I Thank the Lord for Power, For there is a knowledge of the Lord that few have ever seen!

It is Written, “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things–and the things that are not–to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God–that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-31

Prayer: I Pray Father that every Child of God seek the Strength and Wisdom that comes from praying in the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 287 Mark 4:1-9

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Hearing, For by the Spirit shall we understand what is spoken! I Thank the Lord for Sight, For what is in the world is only a glance of what is going on! I Thank the Lord for Trust, For we lean not to our own understanding, but that of The Lord our God!

It is Written, “Again Jesus began to teach by the lake. The crowd that gathered around him was so large that he got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake, while all the people were along the shore at the water’s edge. He taught them many things by parables, and in his teaching said: “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.” Then Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.” Mark 4:1-9

Prayers: I Pray Lord that you strengthen our Spirit to See what is unseen and Hear what is not spoken in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 286 2 Timothy 2:1-13

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Insight, For we should all pray that the Lord bless us with Revelation! I Thank the Lord for Reflections, For we are called to set aside time in our day to Meditate on the things of the Lord! I Thank the Lord for Spirit and Truth, For True Worshipers are being birthed for the Army of the Lord!

It is Written, “You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer. Similarly, anyone who competes as an athlete does not receive the victor’s crown except by competing according to the rules. The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained. Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.” 2 Timothy 2:1-13

Prayer: I Pray Father that we who are your Servants and Soldiers in this fight of Salvation to the World always carry with us the Reminder of living for you and not the world in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 284 Matthew 20:20-28

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for the Heart of a Servant, For We are called to serve others and not to be served! I Thank the Lord for Selflessness, For we are called to put others before us in His Name! I Thank the Lord for understanding, For we have been called to go low, so the Lord may be lifted on high!

It is Written, “Then the mother of Zebedee’s sons came to Jesus with her sons and, kneeling down, asked a favor of him. “What is it you want?” he asked. She said, “Grant that one of these two sons of mine may sit at your right and the other at your left in your kingdom.” “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said to them. “Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?” “We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “You will indeed drink from my cup, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared by my Father.” When the ten heard about this, they were indignant with the two brothers. Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave– just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:20-28

Prayer: I Pray Father that you give your Children Hearts of a Servant, So that we may truly bring your Kingdom Here to Earth in Jesus Name, Amen!

Day 283 Acts 18:9-16

Thanksgiving: I Thank the Lord for Dreams, For He has many ways in which He can Speak to Us! I Thank the Lord for Sound Judgment, For many lack the Spiritual blessing of Discernment! I Thank the Lord for Obedience, For in the Face of a crisis, we shall keep ourselves on the straight path!

It is Written, “One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” So Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God. While Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews of Corinth made a united attack on Paul and brought him to the place of judgment. “This man,” they charged, “is persuading the people to worship God in ways contrary to the law.” Just as Paul was about to speak, Gallio said to them, “If you Jews were making a complaint about some misdemeanor or serious crime, it would be reasonable for me to listen to you. But since it involves questions about words and names and your own law–settle the matter yourselves. I will not be a judge of such things.” So he drove them off.” Acts 18:9-16

Prayer: I Pray Father that you Fill us with Strength by your Spirit and Send your Children dreams that will comfort us in Difficult times in Jesus Name, Amen!
