“Division Between Us!”
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12)

“Division Between Us!”

“Holiness, it’s what I long for!”
“So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the special blessings that will come to you at the return of Jesus Christ. Obey God because you are His children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of doing evil; you didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God-who chose you to be his children-is holy. For He Himself has said, “You must be holy because I am holy.”(1 Peter 1:13-16)
“You are Not your Flesh!”
“For what I do is not good that I want to do; no, it is evil that I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. Now, if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but the sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work; when I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s Law, but I see another law at work in the members of my flesh…” (Romans 7:19-23)

“For what I do is not good that I want to do; no, it is evil that I do not want to do-this I keep on doing.” I would phrase this passage, “The Story of our Life.” The struggle to do what is right but finding yourself doing wrong. I have heard many people tell me of their struggles to Honor the Word of the Lord. To even open up their Bibles daily and to read just a verse or two, they find it next to impossible to do on a daily basis. Even harder than that, is to live a life by Godly standards. Many will try for couples of weeks and then find themselves in the same backslid state.
“A Time To Pray!”.
“And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words as I boldly explain God’s secret plan that the Good News is for the Gentiles, too. I am in chains now for preaching this message as God’s ambassador. But pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for him, as I should.”(Ephesians 6:19-20).
“Prophet Without a Home!”
“The Last Hour!”
“Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o’clock prayer service. As they approached the Temple , a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple . When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money. Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting a gift. But Peter said, “I don’t have any money for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and anklebones were healed and strengthened. He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.” (Acts 3:1-8 NLT)
